PAUD Delisha Kids
Delisha Kids Early Childhood Education Center is present in Getasan District and its surrounding areas as a response to the urgent needs of young families for childcare and early childhood education. Many parents—especially mothers—are forced to stop working because there are no safe, affordable institutions that meet government standards to care for their children. With high private nanny costs and uncertain service quality, Delisha Kids Early Childhood Education Center serves a dual purpose as a childcare center and a space for learning, playing, and healthy growth and development. In addition to academic and motor development aspects, this early childhood education center also instills Christian values from an early age, thereby shaping children's characters based on faith.
The main objective of Delisha Kids Early Childhood Education Center is to provide quality Christian education at the early childhood level that is accessible to the Getasan District community, both in terms of location and cost. Specifically, this PAUD provides safe, comfortable, and child-friendly daycare facilities for children aged 1-6 years, so that parents can continue to work calmly and productively. The presence of PAUD Delisha Kids also supports the local church—GKJTU—by providing Christian-based education and daycare alternatives, so that congregants do not have to travel far to obtain similar services.
Delisha Kids Early Childhood Education provides three integrated services. First, Day Care for children aged 1–3 years, open from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Second, Play Group for children aged 3–4 years, with learning sessions from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.—Play Group children can also rejoin Day Care until pick-up time at 4:00 p.m. Third, Kindergarten for children aged 4–6 years, with learning activities from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and extracurricular activities such as music, drum band, and tambourine; after-school care is also available until 4:00 p.m.
As an official institution under the auspices of the Semarang Regency Education Office, PAUD Delisha Kids uses the government curriculum enriched with Christian values to strengthen character. The school has established strategic partnerships with parents in parenting programs, the Getasan Community Health Center for health screening and immunization, and Partnership Lentera for the provision of facilities and infrastructure.
